The maintenance and upkeep of the hydraulic system of the pump truck are key to ensuring the normal operation of the equipment and extending its service life.
The hydraulic system is filled with mineral based hydraulic oil (HLP46 #) or synthetic ester based biodegradable hydraulic oil (HLP-E46 #) or non flammable hydraulic oil (HFC46). The pump truck is shipped with Shell 46 # hydraulic oil or Sany brand special hydraulic oil (approximately 700 liters).
Methods and steps for replacing hydraulic oil and filter element
1. Park the pump truck on a flat ground, (front swing leg model) open and support the legs, and raise the boom to a 75 degree position;
2. Run the oil temperature of the hydraulic system to normal operating temperature, then turn off the engine, open the unloading ball valve, and release the accumulator pressure;
3. Open the drain ball valve at the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank and drain the hydraulic oil from the tank; At the same time, unscrew the low-level exhaust plug of the main oil pump and drain the remaining oil in the main oil pump; And drain the remaining oil from the oil suction pipeline;
4. Clean the hydraulic oil tank filling port and the surrounding area of the tank side cover; Open all cleaning ports of the hydraulic oil tank and use a prepared dough to clean the impurities inside the tank;
5. Disassemble all high-pressure filters, clean the installation seat and filter oil cup; Replace the new filter element and install it properly;
6. Tighten the main oil pump vent plug and cover the fuel tank side cover plate.
7. Connect an oil filter trolley to the rod chamber at the front end of the main oil cylinder. Remove the hydraulic oil filling port cover plate and add filtered new oil to the oil tank, about 700 liters.
8. Open the exhaust plugs of the main oil pump and arm pump until new oil flows out in a cylindrical shape, and tighten the plugs.
9. Disconnect one end of the return oil pipe of the multi way valve, guide the oil pipe to another oil drum, and after starting the machine, sequentially turn the multi way valve arm handle to move each section of the arm cylinder from one end to the other, drain the old oil in the arm cylinder, and then turn off the engine and reconnect the hose.
10. Close the unloading ball valve, adjust the pumping displacement to the lowest, and then idle the chassis from low to high gear for about half an hour until new oil runs through the entire system. Finally, disassemble the oil filter car;
11. Pay attention to replenishing oil. After normal operation, observe whether the hydraulic oil level is within the specified position, otherwise it should be replenished to the lowest oil level standard scale line;
Daily maintenance precautions
1. It is required to open the drain ball valve at the bottom of the oil tank before starting the vehicle every day (especially in winter) to drain the condensed water and sediment in the tank, in order to extend the service life of the hydraulic oil.
2. The hydraulic oil and filter element should be replaced every 500 hours or half a year after pumping. If emulsification or discoloration is found in the hydraulic oil (observed in a transparent plastic bottle), it should be replaced immediately; When replacing hydraulic oil, all hydraulic oil filter elements must be replaced simultaneously.
3. Check the hydraulic oil level daily. If the oil level is found to be below the minimum oil level standard mark, hydraulic oil should be added immediately;
Matters needing attention:
● It is not allowed to mix hydraulic oils of different models and brands.
●The minimum oil level for refueling is the minimum standard for the fuel tank when the arm and leg are retracted and deployed.
●When the ambient temperature is below 15 degrees, run at low speed for a few minutes first, and then preheat at normal speed to reach an oil temperature of over 20 degrees before construction can begin, otherwise it will damage the main oil pump.
