Concrete pump truck malfunction:
The S – pipe is jammed, resulting in the failure of both forward/reverse pumping.
Phenomenon and reasons:
1. When the forward/reverse pumping is in operation, the swing cylinder does not act.
2. The waiting – for – material time is too long, and no forward/reverse pumping operation has been carried out for more than 10 minutes.
3. The clearance between the wear plate and the cutting ring is too large. (When the pump truck is washed with water, there will be water injection in the hopper; or directly check in the hopper, and replace it immediately when the clearance is too large.)
4. The concrete grading is poor, with more stones and less mortar.
Emergency Troubleshooting Methods:
If the S – pipe is jammed due to more stones in the concrete and a slightly long waiting – for – material time so that the forward/reverse pumping cannot be carried out, first use manual speed – up to make the engine speed rise to about 1,200 revolutions per minute, and then use the swing cylinder for inching. When the S – pipe can swing to one side, immediately perform reverse pumping, and then carry out forward pumping operation.
