Concrete pump truck malfunction:
When the pump truck is performing forward- pumping operation, reverse-pumping must be carried out first before forward-pumping can be carried out .
Phenomenon and reasons:
When the pump truck is pumping concrete, one truckload of concrete can be pumped out completely and normally. But after the next truckload of concrete arrives, reverse – pumping must be carried out first before forward – pumping can be carried out. This fault is more likely to occur just after the cutting ring has been replaced. Because the rubber spring inside the cutting ring is not installed properly, the rubber spring is squeezed out, and the extruded black rubber spring can be clearly seen on the joint surface between the S – pipe and the cutting ring.
When the clearance between the glass-like plate and the cutting ring is too large and the wearing parts need to be replaced, the above – mentioned fault is also likely to occur.
Emergency elimination methods:
When waiting for the next truckload of concrete to arrive ,perform forward/reverse pumping several times during this period ,and carry out reverse pumping before each forward pumping .To completely solve the problem, the rubber spring needs to be replace again, If the clearance between the wear plate and the cutting ring is too large, replace the wearing parts according to the damage situation .
