The rotary reducer of the concrete pump truck is filled with API GL4 transmission oil with a viscosity grade of SAE 90 (Shell VG150 gear oil is filled at the factory). Different amounts of gear oil are added according to different types of reducers (about 8 liters for Bruvini and about 4 liters for Comman). It is required to be replaced every 500 pumping hours or half a year.
Daily inspection of rotary reducer
1. Clear the sand and gravel in the slewing bearing mechanism in time every day and check whether the slewing bearing bolts and reducer fixing bolts are loose or broken. If loose or broken bolts are found, they must be tightened or replaced;

2. Open the upper cover, you can see the reducer gears and the rotary table gear ring. Pay attention to clean the mortar and dirt on the meshing gears regularly, and apply butter on the reducer, that is, below the pinion, to prevent water from entering the reducer;

3. Check the oil quality and oil level of the reducer every month;
4. Replace the gear oil every 500 hours of operation; or replace the gear oil every winter before freezing;
5. For reducers with working hours exceeding 500 hours, the axial clearance of the reducer must be checked once a month (Note: 800 hours is the peak period of failure);
6. The specific method of regular inspection is:
Remove the upper cover and use the force rod to pry the small gear on the reducer. If there is a gap (even if the gap is only 1mm), it means that the bearing in the reducer has been damaged and should be stopped and replaced immediately; the models of the two bearings are: 32220, 30217. It is best to ask customers to buy imported bearings. For domestic brands, choose Wafangdian or Harbin bearings.
The harm of not checking the rotating reducer in time
1. After the reducer bearing is worn, the gear meshing is prone to loosening, and the control turret cannot be locked, resulting in safety accidents.
2. If the turret bolts are loose or broken without timely inspection, the gear ring will be loose and not meshing tightly, and the rotation will be inflexible, which is prone to major failures.
3. If winter comes, if the reducer seal is not checked, the gear oil will mix with water and the reducer housing will be frozen and cracked.
4. Increase customer use costs;
Maintenance steps for rotary reducer
1. Let the reducer work for a while. When the temperature rises to about 30 degrees, unscrew the reducer oil drain plug, drain the old oil, and tighten the plug.
2. Clean the area around the reducer with a cloth;
3. Unscrew the vent cover and the oil level plug, and add lubricating oil through the refueling joint until clean oil flows out of the oil level hole;

Warning:
Before the winter freeze comes, please replace the lubricating oil inside, otherwise the reducer may freeze and crack.
